Blender Installation in AWS Windows EC2
Requirements:

GPU card:
Blender
is a high-end graphic design software with requires different graphic
libraries. Open GL libraries are one of them and is needed to run the software.
All these libraries will work with graphic cards only. So we need to connect
one graphic card to our ec2 instances.
Windows EC2
instance with GPU card.
Step1: Login into AWS management
console and select EC2 service.
Step2: Click launch instance
àselect windows server 2019 base AMI
àGPU Instances like p2.xlarge
àConfigure instance details if we go down, we can see option
Elastic Graphics. Here selects the graphic card.
Note: this elastic graphic card
option is available only in “us-east-1” and “us-east-2” regions.
è Now select the hard disk size ex: 500 GB as we need to install software’s
like blender.
è Add tags like name to your instance.
è Now create a new security group and select two ports 2007,3389 and
source as your IP address for security reasons.
Note: Generally, ec2 network card
connects to graphic card and redirects the traffic to it so that graphic card
can be accessible through RDP tool.
è Now review the settings and create a new windows ec2 instance.
è Download the key .pem file

tool to connect to EC2 instance:
Step
1: Once the windows ec2 instance is ready, select it from the list of
ec2 instances. Then we can see the option of connect in the top row.
Step2:
Once we press “connect” button we can see options to download the RDP tool and
option to decrypt the .pem file. Upload the .pem file and we can get a password
to login into the ec2 instance.
Step3:
Now edit the rdp file and we could see the options tabs. Here select experience
tab and select best speed that suits you and now connect to the ec2 instance.
Blender
Installation:
Step1:
once you login into the windows ec2 instance download blender from the official
page.
Step2:
download only blender 2.79 or before versions only. If you install latest
version like 2.80 it requires opengl 3.3 support which is not available in AWS
GPU card.
Step3:
Now install blender, it will install and work properly...
